She wont wind over..
This is to the mechanical minded. Club cadet ride on mower, Battery charged but the starter will turn the motor till it hits the compression stroke then stops. its like the battery just hasn't got enough to wind it over that bit more. I thought it may have been the battery but it does the same with a brand new battery. Ive taken the plug out and it winds over like a beauty. ive cleaned all the terminals down to the starter and still the same. Any ideas.

First, welcome to OCC.
Since you make no mention as to the model you are referencing, I can only respond in general terms. Typically in situations like this, it usually involves the battery cables. Both cables (positive and ground) need to be clean, bright, and tight, on both ends. Check that out and advise.

Ah.. ok. Chances are weak starter. Pretty common on those courage motors. How many hours on it? Dont rule out ACR tho. Also common issue

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
