Default 1450 muffler mount
A few weeks ago, I bought a 1450, and have started fixing it up but every thing on it has been cobbled up. I bought the correct muffler for it, but when I went to mount it, I see that even that is messed up. Does anybody have a picture of the correct mount?

You need the mount for the air duct that surrounds the muffler,
'It has a provision for mounting the bracket that is welded to your muffler.
It's shown in the upper left corner below
Do you have that?.

It is part and parcel of the ductwork for engine cooling.
Does your engine have all the shrouds and tins in place?

I suggest you look at the parts lookup site, noted above in the ballers for more info.

Default Plus the added brace.
If you find the shroud you may want to purchase or fab the added (not factory) brace that kicks down and back to pick up the bolt hole at the bottom of the shroud into the block.

I agree the brace is actually essential, however it is something a 4th grade student could fabricate. (at least once upon a time)
