Default 50A deck install

Very new to the Cub Cadet world. I just got a 50A deck off a 1250 for my 1976 1450 hydraulic lift and I’m wonder if I need any addition parts for the deck that came of a 1250. The deck and tractor are 21/2 hours away from each other right now so I can’t see what I’m dealing with.

The 50A mower deck will fit on any of the Quietline Series Tractors.

One way or the other you’ll need a mule drive. If you already have one on the 1450 it will work. If you don’t then hope the one you’re getting has one.

There is a mule drive on both my tractors. I just don’t recall seeing how the spring loaded retainers would connect to the 1450. Do I take the undercarriage and put on 1450?? Thanks for everyone’s help and patience.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
