Default Hello from a Greensboro,NC

Hey folks great site have been reading post for the past few nights. I got here from a google search and man there a lot of info here. A little about my collection I have a 147 with the electric lift, rear wheel weights, tiller, dozer blade, snow thrower, and rock rake. All are IH made. I also have what i think is a 1204 that I just got, mainly because it was cheap, that the PO had mounted the hitch plate of a sears SS with the three point lift, plow, cultivator and tire chains. Im looking at a 1650 that I hope to have by friday. Just wanted to say hey and thanks to all that I have read there post for the wealth of info.

Fireman, glad you could join us here.

Welcome from Midland, just south of Concord. When you have a chance, check out the plow day link thats in my signature. Its a great time to be had by all.

Again, welcome, glad you found us, and I hope you are able to find everything you are looking for here. A 1650 would be an excellent addition to what sounds like a growing fleet!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
