Default The 1811 from CL

I couldn't help myself after posting it in the C.L. section so I went and bought it.
For the past few days I cleaned the carb, and the fuel system, changed the oil, fixed the ignition switch connector, and a fixed other electrical gremlins.
Runs and drives now with no smoke or funny noises, but that walbro carb is giving me trouble, but at idle and WOT it is smooth, in between no so much.

The hour meter is broke at 1229 hours but I think it has less on it.
It came with a 50" deck, and there is a newer PTO on it.

Photographs for your pleasure.

Plenty of room, the seat on it is good.

If its the non adjustable carb, just buy the adjustable one and put on it. I did that to two of mine. Of course my 2072 is still running the factory carb and to the best of my knowledge, its never been off.

John, this one is the adjustable type, the main jet needle is not in the best shape.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
