I had a good evening playing with my new (to me) 123. Learned how to take the #1 tiller off (S/N 4176), greased and put the mower deck on (model 482U111), and mowed my front yard. It did a good job, but the blades need to be sharpened. I also need to see what I can do about the lift lever; when I push the button on the handle, it doesn't want to spring back on its own. I'm still looking for the serial number of the tractor. I have a copy of the owner's manual, so I'll reference it, again, and find it another day.

My Speedex model 1631, although it was built in 1980 and looks like it is ancient, didn't make me feel like I had officially joined the "old iron" club. The CC 123 seems to fit the bill, you think??

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
