102 Clutch Assembly
Can anyone please tell me of a sponsor who sells rebuilt clutch assemblies? I'm going to use the tractor for just mowing and general use around the house. Thanks for your input, Mike.

Well..... Mark Hellrung is the only sponsor who advertised that sold rebuilt clutches. But he hasn't been on here in quite some time, and his website no longer works. Good luck getting him to reply to you, he has been known to be hard to get hold of.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it your self, perhaps someone on here would do it for you. I suggest JeffinPA. He sells driveline parts and is a machinist. Here is a link to his ad so you can contact him: http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=20875 There is also Dale Merkel who is in Ohio. He may be willing to help. Here is the link to his profile. You might contact him. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/member.php?u=4 You can also buy a complete assembly from MWSC: http://www.mcssl.com/store/midwestsu...---kevlar-disc If none of those options interest you, or you still can't find any help, PM me. I can rebuild it for you. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
