NOT ME!!!!!! I like it in the 60's and 70's. You yanks can have all the snow you want. Well, it's nice to have the one or two 4" and the ocasional 8" snows but I would shoot myself if I had to deal with snow all winter long.
However, my blade and chains are at ready and yes it is fun to push snow with the ole 149.

I am sitting here with my hand up, LOL.
Though I will have to mow grass one more time and mulch leaves a few times before the blower goes on the 2086 but my GrandFathers old 102 has the blade on it all year round so BRING it on this year, And Chip, it's just not winter without snow.

Quote:
Turfs and chains at minimum, fluid turfs with weights and chains are much better. Ags and chains are better than nothing but you do NOT get a good footprint with ags. |

Not yet, we don't get snow here that often. I'll have the blade on soon.

As EricR stated we are sort of ready. I am still mowing grass so I cannot take the mower off just yet. We do have a plan though. Since we only live a couple of houses from each other our plan is to put his blade on my 2084 and his blower on his 2086. Of course we have one 102 already with the blade and that should cover just about all contingencies. I have to put the ags on my 2084 yet but that will happen possibly tomorrow evening. Woo Hoo.

You all can have my snow when we get it. The older I get the more I hate it.
But none the less, I'm ready. Pull the truck up into the plow, hook up two pins and plug in two cables turn on the heat, and we're off. With a graveled two hundred yard long driveway, fields on the east and west sides, I'll use the truck. No freezing covered with snow for this boy, been there, done that. I know it's being a wimp, but I'm a dry and warm wimp

as soon as the grass go's to sleep a blower go's on the 882 with 75lb and chains on each tire. and the 582 gets the blade , 90lbs in the wheels with chains. I may put the blade on the 125, not sure yet. I dont have weights or chains for it. so it might stay in for the winter.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
