Good looking fleet! Glad your nephew had fun. Him driving the Super A is reminiscent of me driving ours between the farms, probably started driving them on the highway when I was about 9-10. The A's lived at the "other farm" from basically May thru Oct. (we didn't grow tobacco here at the home place after very early 70's). When we needed one to cultivate garden we would go get it after dad got home from work, or on a Sat. After June this meant you had to drop the drawbar, install the rear cultivator, do your work, switch back to drawbar and carry it back--yours truly was always the tractor driver.

The only way to enjoy a parade is when it is hot and you are sipping a cool one on the side!!! As a participant, you want it cooler, especially if you are in a band playing an instrument (those HS days!!!). Great set of rides for the parade. Hope you had a fun time. I know your nephew just gained a lasting memory.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
