Those tin sheds will collapse under heavy snow, I have a 10 by 14 you can have for free but it is now about 3 feet high. The doors also do not hold up unless you are VERY gentle with them.

If your area allows the carport style sheds a 12 by 18 one should run you about $600 plus the tin to finish enclosing it. They are much more permanent, altho down here in Texas we lost about half of them in town due to high winds the other day. (A storage unit place in town was also destroyed, so it wan't your normal high wind......) If you let them enclose it and sell you a door it will get spendy tho....BUT they build it too, and that is worth something.

For mower storage a nice pea gravel floor over a vapor barrier of some sort will be fine.

I had thought about it falling due to snow. I would probably beef up the interior a little for that and for added security. I was thinking taking some square stock and make a secondary internal cage frame, maybe even make my own steel gate once that is done.

I can concur with almost everything said here - except, silicone can and will speed up the corrosion process - it doesn't react will to some metals.

The carport idea is a good one - you can buy one for just a little more money and then enclosed it at your leisure.

And the floor kit they sell for those Arrow and Arrow type sheds are worthless - the 2 x 6 idea is the way to go and use treated wood also.

There are basically two types of material used in these sheds, painted and vinyl coated. You will be better off in the long run by going with one of those carports or building a shed yourself. I have a 10 x 13 arrow shed and it's okay, but I rather have waited and bought a carport or built my own shed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
