I don't think that is correct but prove me wrong. I thought all 7,8 and 10 hp IH models came standard with 6-12's.

I think the 6-12's look need as dually tires on the back, especially with the inside tires reversed. They look even neater if they are ags and function really well in the snow with a blade.

I think the early 4wd Scouts, Broncos etc look good stock with the narrow tires. Most like to put bigger tires on them.

Yeah.... I knew that wasn't correct as well. The 6-12's were optional for a long time. AFAIK, the only series they were not offered in was the last series, the 82 series. Parts books do not show a listing as a 6-12 as a possible size available for any of the '82 series tractors.

I like the original Firestone Town and Country tires.
That IH decal on the seat spring doesn't belong and the color looks incorrect.

The logo being there is accurate. On every tractor with one seat spring (O, 70, 100, 71, 72, 73) all had the IH logo on the spring. Not sure about the 73, though.

Bill was just giving Todd a hard time, he wasn't serious.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
