Why were you planning to put a SGT rear hitch on a GT? You would have to notch the rear frame of the 782D for it to work, even if the arms didn't fit the tank. You can put a GT rear hitch on an SGT without mods, but not the other way around. |

Looks like the same CV shaft I put in my turbo 1772. Mine lasted a few years. The shaft has a bend in it now. Vibrates pretty bad. Time to figure out a new shaft. CVs have held up well though. Hope you have better luck.

The loader puts a lot of stress on the frame twisting.I have a Case 644 the loader is built as part of the tractor not much flexing.

Finally got my grass eater together. The 1772 with the turbo should be easier on fuel, when mowing I run 3-4 Psi boost at center operating temp. Need to keep eye on temp if screen gets full of Cotton wood fuzz.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
