Duke

I know you can drive over them and it has been done to this deck in the past, just straightened the belt covers and replaced a front caster, didn't want to bend them again. Just changed a belt on one of the newer Cub 60" decks with the swivel wheels and trust me it's MUCH easier to do it with some kind of lifting setup if you have one. I'm old and lazy.

One of my favorite sayings is “It’s taken me a long time to become a dirty old man and I'm going to enjoy it"

I know this is old post, but can anyone tell me if these casters would work on my haban deck 60" which has both front and rear spindles which able to free wheel to allow deck easier movement vs deck in post.

If you have the Haban 325 deck, then those casters are not an exact replacement. Those are 6 inch x2 inch. The 325 deck dimensions are odd. Something like 6.25 in diameter x 3 inch. I have been looking for those for a while because mine are showing their age. One of the treads is loose on the little rim. NLA from Cub.

Steve, the one I picked up looks like it has newer ones on it and they kind of look like the ones on my 3000 series model 290 deck. I'll get some measurements tonight and see if they are. kinda pricey though!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
