Still growing here. I got a water way so bad I'll have to bushog it. It has enjoyed the nitrogen that leached in from a field of corn. I threatened to bale it a couple times, just not quite wide enough.

Here in WI, our grass is as green as grass. Growing like a weed still.
But as Sam mentioned, beats snow.
Won't be long, and everyone can start bitching about the snow. Oh, that would be me...

Here in Bama I usually make my last cut in early November so nothing is really out of the ordinary for me.

Grass here is greener than usual for this time of year, but my lawn looked much better in early June.

Mowing every other day and fertilizing right now. Loving it! Got a little fungus issue from all the rain followed by warm weather, but lawn is mostly looking great. Expecting to mow for a few more weeks at least.

The extra rain was good for the pumpkins,,,

The grandchildren are all excited about carving them,,
I am afraid they will fall into a couple of them,,,

The pumpkin vines shaded the weed grass in the garden,, the vines were everywhere,,

Two plants ended up stretching then ENTIRE 150 feet length of the garden.
the vines are growing out of the garden at both ends,,,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
