Tim, I have to hand it to you your shop does some great work. Whenever I repaint one of our tractors I take it down to bare metal and start with an epoxy primer base and go from there. It takes more time and does cost much more but the end result is worth it to me. We have a 1066 Black Stripe that the family bought new back in 76 and when I rebuilt the engine in 1996 I also painted it. It still looks great today and many people cannot believe that it is still a worker for us. Please keep posting up pictures It does not matter what color or make they are, good workmanship is always appreciated.
Tom

Looks great. She's got the vertical exhaust mod. I believe these came with the exhaust that was directed to the back, correct?

I really love the old Fords. I've got a 3000 I need to clean up sometime. I've got her in a few different pieces now, but my two kids (2 and half and 4 months) are keeping me busy.

Keep up the good work.

Hand painted raised lettering. This is a shifter for a Ford gold demonstrator.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
