Default 1772 with 50c (359)

Hello,

I tried to put belt on my mower deck on 1772 w/50C mower deck.
The belt is B90 Gates, supposed to be the good one for this set up.
Is too short all binder are in minimum position and mission maybe 3-4 inch to install the belt. Someone has this problem in the past? My mule linkage are OK ?

The correct belt for your application is a 954-3006, which is a Section B belt x 93".

The OEM Part Number is correct for a 1772 w/50C (190-359-100) using a 190-361-100 Mule Drive, and that the Mule Drive and 50C deck are installed per OEM recommendations.

Is this a new purchase or have you owned the tractor for some time?
If not.
You may want to download the 50c deck manual to check if it is mounted correctly.

The 50C Mower Deck could have two different Mule Drives to operate the deck.

* 190-360-100 used on standard Garden Tractors
* 190-361-100 used on Super Garden Tractors.

The Mule Drive (or PTO) belt, varies with the Mule Drive being used.

Mule Drive Belt:

* 190-360-100 uses 954-3003A (Sec B x 89.5")
* 190-361-100 uses 954-3006 (Sec B x 93")

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
