Question Value

Good day everyone, question I have a 1973 cadet. My grandfather purchased it new I have the sales slip. It is all original and the original motor was rebuilt 50 hours ago. I have the mower deck, garden blade, snowblower and tiller attachments all in working order. The equipment has years of wear but still great and dependable. I am located in the thumb of Michigan.

My question is does anyone have an estimated value for the whole package.
Thank you everyone in advance for any information y’all might offer.

Welcome to OCC
To best determine approximate value, first you need to tell us the model number like 109 149 etc.
Pictures are must, just like selling anything.
As far as "motor rebuilt" some consider that a new paint job and a spark plug possibly a carb cleaning.
A "rebuilt engine" has been bored oversize with new piston and rings, valves ground and the crankshaft turned undersize with new connecting rod as well as other wearable parts.

If I was in the market I would want to see receipts for the "rebuild" as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
