Default Balance gears ??
Recently purschased a 169 and in process of overhall, last time was worked on the balance gears were left out, now i am questioning about installing them have heard pro and con of them on line, curious what experience anyone has had with them thanks, paul.

Leave them out...you will not regret it! Set the engine timing correctly and make sure the driveline components are tight and the shaft runs true. These recommendations will remove some unnecessary and unwanted vibrations.

I took mine out of my 14hp. Can’t tell any difference. Their an accident waiting to happen!

April 1979 1200 Quietline 44A deck 1988 1211 customized into a 1288 with a K301AQS 38C deck and a 1864 54” deck . Snow blades 42" and 54" . Brinly disk, brinly plow a cultivator and a $5 brinly yard rake!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
