K301 in a CC123 question
Been working on the K301 in my CC123 and got to looking at the wire that goes from the coil on the - side to the points, it looks like it has been replaced at some point before I got it.
It looks like it is a 10 ga. wire and I would like to know if that is the right size or not. I may replace it just because I have the time and I don't like the way it is looking (not nice and neat), But if I 'am going to play around and clean it up I want to do it right as far as the wire size goes. Thanks for the help, Joe

10GA is gross overkill. 16GA is what the Factory used and is more than adequate for the amperage load.

Thanks R Bedell for that info. I was thinking the same thing that 10ga. was way over kill ( But what do I know ) will change that out and move on with other things.
