Thanks. Will do. I wasn't sure if I was posting in the wrong place or maybe this has been done so many times that not many are interested? It's all new to me though.

Good Progress. I got my 1863 in 2012 from a friend and it took me a long time to work through the issues. https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...t=18242&page=3
I got my 1641 in 2014 and it was in even worse shape. https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...ad.php?t=36148 I'm not a guy who takes stuff apart and fixes everything as I put it back together. I just got mine running and fixed things as they tore up. I still have problems pop up with mine but your obviously a better mechanic than I am. The most recent thing I did to the 1863 was install a starter relay, the 1641 got new steering joints this year. Keep up the good work. Cannon |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
