Default Large rear tire options

I'm looking to build up my 73 a lot like TimE did with his sweet custom build. I could use some advice on large rear tire options. He did some fancy work with his rims that is a little out of my league. Could I get some ideas on rims and taller tire options?

You could get some 6 in wide rims and put the 23 8.5 12 Tru powers on those, that'll give you a pretty nice stance with a pair of fenders. I know, not too much larger than the 6 12s but they look pretty darn good

I just used ATV take-offs,,,,,,,

They filled the wheel well,,,,,,,,,,,

They are the hardest working tires I have,,,,,,,

They were zero effort, just bolted on,,,, I did bolt them on backward of the intended method,,,,,,,,

Maybe some day I will paint them to look like tractor wheels,,,,,,,,,

maybe look for some 400 series case GT wheels....they are the same bolt pattern i believe, and theres some pretty cool "boots" out there for them....

I still think these are one of the best ATV type tires out there for tractors. Kenda Executioners, 25x10x12. Fill the wheel well but still leaves a little room. EXCELLENT traction!

How 'bout these? 26x12x12s

Here's how the rims fit on the ol' 'Rigonal. Got some rings and centers from Miller tire and welded 'em where they fit under the fenders. No spacers!

Thank you all for the options. I'm going to have to figure out what direction I plan to go. I got lucky this time around and won my Fantasy Football pool so I have some cash to spend on tractor goodies

Well, I have been looking around also.. Miller tires, just look at the different sizes.. some where I heard 25's would work.. So I looked up 26's with a true 25" rad.. there are a couple options if you what to go that way??

Per request, here's a side shot of the Kenda Executioner to show the clearance on the 1450. I'll try to get a better shot this week, but I go to work in the dark and get home in the dark!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
