Default CC30 Small Bolt fell off...help identify?

I was cutting my grass this past week. I pulled into the garage and noticed this small bolt lying under the tractor. It’s a smooth shaft bolt with little slots on the end that appear to be where maybe a leaf spring would sit. I can’t for the life of me find out where it came from. Photo attached. If anyone knows, please let me know!! Thank you!!

You want us to tell you where that bolt came from? We're good, but not that good. What is a Cub Cadet 30 anyway?

Is there a hole through the smaller end of it? Looks like some kind of pin maybe off the deck or something.

What diameter and length is the pin (a bolt has threads)?
Does the head have a slot, phillips, hex in it?

If it was on the floor, maybe it came from something else and not the motor.

Obviously it is not needed, lol.

Just went through the entire parts list for this machine. Can't find anything that resembles this IF it is in fact a pin. Can't tell if the end of it is threaded. If it is a pin, and does not have any threads on the very end, I do not believe this came from your CC30.

Do you have any attachments other than just the deck itself?

However, feel free to double check here:

If you can't tell what it is you are looking for, how can you be sure you did not find anything that "looks" like it?

Good question (in general), but not relative to my post. I do know a few options that I am looking for. I couldn't tell if it was threaded on the end, so I looked for all possible options.

I looked for ANY clevis pins, threaded carriages with a smooth shaft and threaded end, orany other pin with a slot like that one shown. I didn't find anything that could resemble what is pictured, threaded end or not. There are some threaded carriages in the parts list, but none I could find that had a slot or needed a slot. There are many subassemblies that are shown in the parts list, so perhaps it is part of one of them. However, the link is there. Perhaps he will have better luck.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
