How to add second pair of wheels
I have a 805 that I want to add a second set of rear tires to. Can any one tell me where to get wheel couplers or how to make them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jody

Not sure you really want to do that, the 805's have and aluminum transaxle and they are notorious for going bad, duel wheels and tires will only hasten the inevitable.
Those transaxles are also extremely difficult to find and very spendy if you do find one.

Would that be the same case with my 1315? Thanks

tinkerman73,
I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the 1315 so I can't answer. However I can tell you this; If the rear wheels don't bolt onto the axle, then I would steer clear of adding too much weight or putting added stress on the transaxle.

Yes, the 1315 has the cheaper aluminium rear end too. It's a lawn tractor.

Thank you for the reply! That scratched that idea! Also now I know I placed the threads in the wrong spot. LOL. Here I thought they were garden tractors. Oops. LOL.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
