You may be giving me more credit than i deserve. The fact is that if something happens to mama then we have 4 new born kitten's to take care of, I basically spent $400 for a baby sitter for the next 8 weeks. It's always tough to spend big bucks on an animal but at the end of the day it's the right thing to do, After getting the $4,000 quote from the other place last night I've never been so happy to spend $400 on a cat in my life.

You faced a tough decision. Good job, Dad!

Might have done the same if I was in your shoes. My wife and I loved the pets we each grew up with. When we got together we decided no pets since we are gone out of the house 12 hours a day. Said it was not fair to animals. Vet bills you speak of make me cringe and glad for our decision. But we do enjoy pets of friends and family.

Tim, you did the right thing!! Now, a family is together once again and the investment you made into a "family member" will deliver benefits and happiness for a long time to come. Not just for you, but for those little kittens, too! In this day and age, that's what being a man is all about.....stepping up and doing the right thing. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and now you know why mama cat was under your care. When you rest your head on your pillow, you'll have the satisfaction knowing that did what was right and made a difference!!

Go to google and the high dollar place and post up a review for future customers.
Let them know that such a procedure will run around 10 times more than their regular vet.

There are a ton of bad reviews saying the same thing about prices but when it's 11pm they are the only vet open and you really have no choice, I expected something like $1,000 but when she said $4,000 i about died.

That's why I like our vet clinic. There's 8 docs and they have one on call 24/7 for emergencies.

The kittens appear to be thriving...but momma looks like she could use a bigger helping of Meow Mix. Glad they are doing well!

She's just a small cat to begin with. Don't worry, she eats plenty.

Prolapse happens to cows on occasion. I know the vet who used to come to the farm wasn’t even near 400. And there is a lot more to shove back in there!
We would have been eating steak if the vet charged that much.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
