Weather Idiot on TV is calling for 6" or so around Allen C's area. Just a dusting for us up in SW VA. Go figure.

Calling for around 4-6" here. Sam, if you are going to live in the South you must embrace the celebration we have every time it snows! A good excuse to stay home, eat junk food, watch TV and then go sledding!! I don't know who is looking forward to the snow more, me or the kids. Last year we had some runs so slick you couldn't hardly walk back up. In the event its the fluffy kind of snow we'll pack the heck out of them with ATV's. I made the mistake of doing that to my driveway the year we got the record breaking 21"--but I used a tractor. It made for great sledding, but it didn't exactly turn off 50deg two days later like it normally does. My driveway is steep--lets just say it was interesting for several days.

Sam,

I knew I should have come up there and got that snow blower, my other voodoo doll must be losing it's magic! Calling for same amount in my neighborhood and I am just 45 minutes from Allen. Crap! But I do have my 126 equipped with a front blade so I am prepared! And going to set up the 1450 with a blade as well. Double voodoos! There's already a shortage on bread and milk in my area and the first snow flake hasn't even fallen ye.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
