None around here . There was one in wilmington a few weeks back on craigslist but you had to buy 2 tractors and implements to get though.

IH did not make the carts. I think I read it was Ohio Steel. Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have any pictures yet, but it has been restored the correct way and looks too good. I think after a little use, it will get that old patina back.

Not a bad price.

Yes #2 carts are without a doubt the most common, the #1s are harder to find but are out there, the #4 and #3 are hard to find, the #3 is not sought after though because of its size, the #4 is probably the hardest to find.

There was an old lady about 3 miles from my house who had a #4. Her grandson is a friend of mine. Inquired through him if she would sell it. He told me yes. I'm sorry to say, she died quite unexpectedly. Her kids would not let it go after she passed. If only I'd got it quicker.

This is the last #4 I have seen in awhile. Not sure if it ever sold.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
