Shotgun Clay,
It really isnt very exciting. the PO just epoxied the low idle jet shut and ran a propane jet into an aluminum block attached to the front of the carb.

I am working on figuring out what i want to do for a muffler. i have a quietline muffler and a k361 muffler from a ariens gt16 that i will probably end up modifying to fit within the quietline nose. I do have other news where i finally have moved into the new house and the new garage. first time i have had all my tractors and parts in one location and inside. the garage has an attached office. I shall be putting a larger door in the office and i will store the nice restored tractors and memorabilia in there. first tractor to get some love in the new place was my new to me 126.

Finally got the engine running. Its been complete for years just waiting to get the coil on it to fire it. ran pretty decent on the text book adjustments. I didn't bother tuning it yet as i am going to wait till its in the tractor before i get it perfect. before i started it i took the pan and valve cover off and dribbled a little oil on the crank/bearings and the rocker arms to make sure they had oil for cranking. ran pretty decent but certainly shakes pretty well.

the video can be seen here.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
