Above is the link to cubcadet.com and lighting assembly. You can see what is needed for the wiring.
These must be the wrong retaining rings, or I have lost my mind. They are way too flexsble to be older than me. All my notches are towards the engine and I got bobble head dog eyes.

Too be continued... I'm an hour and half from the tractor right now. I may go back Monday to do some more work on it.

Did the 1X8/9 tractors use the rubber retaining rings?

No. That series shared headlight rings with the previous series...73-147. The Quietline headlight rings were unique.

Default Finally put it to work.
I'm in Shawneeland for the week and brought my Xtrememotorworks sleeve hitch blade and Brinly box blade. The driveway got washed out a couple weeks ago and of course there are leaves and sticks to deal with. I'm changing the oil right now and doing some maintenance later this week.
