I haven't used that fluid. (That is also directed at bllwnkl.)
I use fluid from O'Reilly's.... but I was at TSC and saw it was on sale.
I've not had any cavitation issues with the O'Reilly fluid, but I DID have cavitation issues when I ran DexIII one year. Funny thing was, I noticed the trouble in the winter, and not from the cold that I could tell. I decided the fluid was too thin. (Only thing I could come up with.) I switched back to the heavier fluid and the noise went away. I'll look tomorrow and see what weight the fluid is from O'Reilly's. I thought it was an AW32, but I'll look again.

Take a look at this link.. All you need to know about hydraulic oil.. I thought this was sufficient amount of knowledge about hydraulic oil until the day I started selling hydraulic mules for aircraft LOL.. Then I found out about 100 or so more specs in hydraulic oils. Anyway hope it helps you some

My local case/IH dealership has always said Hy Tran is the same as 15/40 engine oil with some slightly different additives. I used to work on several Case wheel loaders and used 15/40 diesel oil in all of them.

as for me, I usually get my HY Tran at Farm and Fleet, they often put it on sale for $16 for 2 gallon jug. (Blaine's tractor hrdraulic fluid)
