Kohler KH-235935 Gas Tank
My gas tank on the 125 has sprung a leak. Besides having the leak repaired, I'm looking into possibility of replacing the tank rather than do a repair. I understand the KH-235935 tanks are NLA. I wonder if there are NEW alternatives available reasonably priced?
Thanks, Bill

How about checking with our sponsors for a good used tank and placing an Ad in the Wanted Ad Section...???

Another option is to go to your local O'Reilly's (or other auto parts store) and buy a can of Red Kote. Use that to line your gas tank. It's a thick solvent based sealant for sealing gas tanks. I did that to a 73's tank over 5 years ago and it's still holding fine. It's made for automobiles, motorcycles, etc. so it should work fine you your tank unless it has a large hole.
Tanks can also be soldered if it's a seam leak... (purge the gas first!) Used tanks are readily available, as already noted.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
