Voltage regulator
Can I buy a voltage regulator, points and condenser from a local auto parts supply that will work in my 123. If so what would the part numbers be? Thanks.

If you buy Cub parts for your Cub you will only spend your money and time once for the repair. Try to stay away from what will fit from the automotive world. You won't regret it.

I was looking at my NAPA parts list and I have part numbers for the points and condensor, but not for the regulator. I just threw in th coil number since it goes along with your other request. Also, I believe the coil is a Kohler brand coil.
Points: 701029 Condensor: 701338 Coil: 4151921S

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
