Not a Cub, but smaller.
Wanted to share this with yuns. My buddy for many years recently tells me has a small kids tractor he’d like to get running again. It was something his father bought when he was a toddler. When he dropped it off at my place I was scratching my head, never saw anything like it. Research found little except it is rare! So he’s decided on an operational restore only at this time, no cosmetics.
Made by David Bradley and sold at Sears Roebuck in 62/63 only. This is a 63 with the BIG BLOCK 2.2hp Tecumseh.

Likely the only Cub one left in existence. Plenty of other examples out there. They are worth a fair bit, so be careful I guess.

That's pretty cool!
It actually reminds me of not one but two similar but different things. First is the "Hiller Yard Hand" tractor. It has a 2 stroke 1.7hp engine and 2 speed belt drive transmission. Really not much to them. The other thing it reminds me of is something I've seen in an issue of "Toy Farmer" magazine. Unfortunately I cannot seem to locate the magazine at this time but when I do I can come back with all the specifics, but it was about the production of these little pedal-tractor-like machines. They were built in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large. The small and large had narrow front ends, the medium had a wide front. But the real kicker was that they could be ordered with pedals, provisions to fit an engine, or ordered with an engine. Unfortunately the article only had the original advertisements so I am unsure if any examples actually exist today. Things like these fascinate me for some reason

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
