Default Snow pushing

Not much to speak of this season thus far, but earlier this month I got some snow pushing in with my new to me 69 73.

Haven't much snow in my neck of the woods either.

Good video, thanks for posting it.

I use a similar set up, probably the same model blade, on my 125. Been using it for nearly 20 years. Always starts easy and runs strong, pushes a lot of snow. I have it weighted and use chains for traction.

I had the arm strong manual lift until last year when I finally got a hydraulic lift for it. What an improvement! Now, I wish I could figure out a way to change the blade angle without getting off and back on.

Nice work Daniel, the gear drives do start easier in the cold.

You can say that again. I don't know what to do with my engine block heater (that I used on the rear end of the 147) and the battery maintainer that I'd plug in the night before I wanted to use it. They just sit on the shelf collecting dust now.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
