Vintage 3'x5' Cub Cadet Dealer Lighted Sign
I've been thinking about selling my vintage dealer sign to someone that will enjoy it in their shop. It has come time to do so. This is a huge lighted plastic Cub Cadet sign from the mid 1970's, with an aluminum frame/housing. It's 3' tall by 5' wide. This is a genuine, original Cub Cadet dealership sign from the mid 1970's, NOT a cheap modern reproduction. It was made in the USA by A & E Texlite Corporation. The plastic sign face is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs whatsoever. This is a single sided sign, but there are slats in the back side so you could slide another plastic sign in there, or just mount it on a wall. This is hardwired, but could be converted over to a plug in setup. All of the electronics and internals are there with the sign, but there are no fluorescent bulbs/tubes included. One of the little L shaped pieces of aluminum trim on the left side of the sign isn't there, but it's just common aluminum angle that you could easily replace if you wanted to. Since this is so big, we would have to do pick up in person, or we might be able to send it via Fastenal.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
