Job Situation
Humbly, I ask you all pray for my job situation. My company has continued to decrease our employees on our team, which places the rest of us in a position where we get to perform not only our task but also the task of 2 additional employees. Because of our contracting, this has placed me in a position where I have to not only work throughout the normal workday but also another 4 hours each night after the wife and kids go to bed, and on both days of the weekend. Its not about the pay, its about my health, my character, and my integrity. Things were not like this nearly 7 yrs ago when I started with this company. It was a worker and family friendly place to work.
My number one priority is my relationship with God and family falls right behind. Unfortunately, the job has began to overtake both and my heart breaks because of it. I would like for you all to pray with me that God's will be done in my life regarding my job. If I am to stay here, or if I am to leave, I simply want His direction and guidance. It is not about money whatsoever, its about relationships. Thank you all. Aaron

It stinks that this world puts us in these situations. God knows your heart. I pray you find His direction.

Well...the situation is beginning to work itself out. I have been notified my company will be closing my division "soon" for reasons unknown to us. I don't know if that means today, this week, this month, or a couple months from now but I can't wait around to let them make a decision for my family and I. We have been given no time table but if their reputation holds true, I will go to work one day and the office door locks will have been changed.
So, I am on a job hunt at this time. Not knowing when things will happen, I am going to be liquidating some of my "toys" in an effort to gain some financial padding to take care of my family in the event the job search doesn't go so well. I appreciate all the prayers and thoughts and I do understand God works in mysterious ways sometimes, but I am not discouraged by any means.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
