What does it Weigh.
Morning All, I am trying to figure out a cost on freighting a tiller across the
country. Can't find owners manual online that has specs. Does anyone have a manual for a 190-400-100 tiller that lists the specs for it. Ken |

I'd guess around 300# , do you have a bath scale to weigh it ?

Ship it through Fastenal. You will need to drain all fluids and secure it to a pallet. I had an 004 Hydro tiller shipped from New York to Georgia for $150 and it is heavy. I also had an Onan B48G engine shipped from Michigan to Georgia for about the same price and it would probably take 5-6 engines to weigh what the tiller does. I don't think the weight is a big deal with them but they need a guesstimate. I would tell them 250-300lbs shipping weight. You will also need the store code numbers for both stores to see if they can handle the weight on site. The person pays for the shipping at the Fastenal counter when they pick the item up. It is the best way to ship IMHO.

Thanks for the info all, I do not have a scale here but put it in the pickup
tonight and will haul to the landfill scale in the AM. See if they can give me a guess, fortunately my beloved runs the scales on Sat. I was thinking 200 lb range but guessing you fellas are closer. Did you have to crate the stuff for Fastenal or just band it to a skid? I wish the Governator was in his prime George. Gravity seems high in these Troubled Times. Stuff just keeps getting heavier. Fastenal
Was the best deal for shipping stuff. I have 2 friends that work at Fastenal. They said since the pandemic they are not shipping anything. I ask if they thought they would ever start back the shipping process. They said probably not. You might want to call your local branch. . |

Will give those Fastenal a call Monday, thanks for the heads up. For those playing
along with what's it weigh, you all win. Tally was 300lbs, give or take. The prize is exactly nothing, but thanks for playing, I did appreciate it. Ken |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
