Default I joined the smoker club.

I picked up my first smoker last night, an 882 with 1000hrs on the clock. Nobody has heard it run for years but I'm hopeful that it will fire right up after I clean the fuel system and change all the filters. I did get the side panels with it.

Welcome to the club Tim,
Looks like it was kept inside all its life, you know what you gotta do to get it to run.
Did it come with a 3 point hitch?

Will we see it at plow day?

It was stored inside from what I heard. It did come with a 3 point which is currently for sale, this will hopefully be for mowing so I have no use for it and I already have two cat 0 setups. You will not be seeing this at plow day. I absolutely hate plowing with a hydro so it's gonna stay at home and the 1050 will be going to plow day once again.

Nope. No takers yet. I guess if it doesn't sell I will take it to plow day with me and hopefully sell it there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
