Nice!

Rock Island is a great gun for the money, i had the compact model with a bull barrel and it functioned great and was very accurate for having such a short sight radius. Here is my 1911, it's gunsmith built with a caspian frame and slide with all Wilson combat internals, it's a commander sized gun so it has 4 1/4" barrel. the grips are from Lok grips, if your looking for different grips i can't recommend them enough, the gentlemen that owns the company is great to deal with and the grips are very high quality. the sights are tritium night sights from novak.

Nice! I know the pic it bad, but it came with the same G10 grips that Lok makes. It's a 4.25" as well with a full length guide rod. It's pretty fully loaded for the $610 my local dealer let me have it for. I only wish it had the tritium sights, mine are adjustable but it only has a front fiber optic sight.

I could tell they were G10 but most guys like to customize and the factory grips are usually the first thing to go, just don't get punisher grips.

Default H&R Ultra slug gun owners?

Anyone in Cub land own a H&R ultra slug gun? Here in Illinois we can't use a rifle so we hunt with a shotgun and slugs. Some now use a muzzle loader. I hope to get my grandson out for youth hunt, but my gun stock is way long for a small frame 7 year old. Anyone have luck changing the stock on their H&R? By the way I use a 20ga.

Wow, you all can take a 7 year old out for a youth hunt? Here in Wisconsin anyone 10 or older can now obtain a hunting license and hunt without first completing a hunter education course. He or she must be accompanied by a licensed hunter, hunt within arm's reach of the mentor, and follow other rules.
What about looking for a used youth size shotgun.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
