I'm shocked.

Thanks for getting it made so quickly.

Spent today getting it all cleaned up for when I have everything to put it back together. Wasn't planning on doing much, but ended up scrubbing and hosing the entire thing down, then doing some paint touch up. Need to go to my local dealer in the morning and pick up the correct colors, figured I'd get it primed with what I have though.

Mr. XP, good work so far. Looks like you have the original IH filter on it. Might want to change it and the fluid while you’re at it.

Jeff that coupler is sweet. I didn’t know you added the set screws on each side either. No wobble wobble now for sure.

Agreed, nice work on the 105

Just an added benefit of designing replacement parts myself. I make the collar a little longer and add set screws to keep these fine machines running.

Changing the fluid and filter is on the list as well.

I noticed one of my check valves appears to be stuck down. I pushed it down and it didn't pop back up. Is this normal? Will it pop back up once it is running or should it be popping back up now?

What do I need to do to it if it should be popping back up? Take it out and clean it, then replace the O-rings and washers per the service Manual?

It should pop up once the tractor starts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
