Default Future of OCC is at stake folks!

I put an announcement up a while back about Angie needing some help with expenses.

Needless to say the $33.00 was not exactly what we expected. SIGH!!!!

The donation button is at the top of every page.

That being said, since I've been nominated to take things over after Roland's passing, something I wasn't really looking to do, but Angie needed a hand in her time of need.

I have a few options for everyone to think about.

1. Get some dough coming in to make sure OCC stays as it is with hopefully getting an upgrade to make it more user friendly for cell phones.

2. Shut the site down for future posting and use it as an information only site.

3. Sell it and relieve everyone of any responsibility and make sure Angie gets taken care of, cause God knows, she's been thru enough already!

4. Selling would mean ads and possibly a change in format, but it would still be available to use as normal.

The choice is yours folks.
I'll make a decision very shortly depending on how things go.

The thing right now is, Angie got hit by surprise with some back bills.

With hosting and others things along the way, and with the update that really needs to take place for cell users the first go round will be around 2500.00.
After that about 250 to 500 a year.

Well I just gave $50 to get it started.
If everyone that I have helped just gave a dollar, we should be good.
Hell I've given enough laughs for that.

Well, I can vouch for getting my moneys worth from Ole George shortly after joining here.

And several other members with a priceless amount of knowledge have contributed to my Cub ownership journey.

So I guess I better pony up some too. Canadian pesos don’t go
as far though.

Every bit helps keep the lights on I donated here today

Forums Like
Red square ask for a $25.00 Yearly
Simple tractors $20.00 Yearly
MTF I Think it is $30 something Yearly
Green Tractor Talk I Think it is $30 something Yearly
Weekend freedom machine again I Think it is $30 something Yearly
Unofficial Cub Cadet site has several different levels of Donation Monthly, Yearly or a one time $150 donation

If everyone donated $20 US Today That's 125 Members to make Up for the Back dues for the site Plus another 25 Members that would cover the Yearly fees I think Digger said it was $400 or $500 yearly fee to the hosting company

There are 502 active Members Here

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
