Wide frame axle on a NF

I'm thinking about putting a wide frame axle on my 123 NF, any input would be appreciated. I searched other threads and couldn't find this issue. Could be that I'm lousy at searching or this hasn't been talked about (which I doubt), so any help or redirection will be very helpful. Thanks.

I think you will need or (want to use) W.F. spindles also, and have to make a longer tie rod end for the steering. keep us posted. I am going the other way, W.F. to N.F. for a project on my list

You're right Tractordude, I would use the entire WF axle assembly. I will get some pictures together to show progress. I searched Google per DX3's suggestion and think this should work. I'll post updates, thanks for the input.

I plan on doing this to my 100 also since the .NF design seems to ware out real easy. The wf design is much better

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is install the WF axle and use the drag link from a WF and it'll work.

I believe Matt is correct. I put a wide frame front axle under one of my 122s, I don't remember going on a search for any additional parts. You will probably want to use Wide Frame wheels on the Wide Frame axle, as this will put your width back to where it should be.

It should work I've gone the other way and put a narrow frame axel on a wide frame. You just need to use the tie rods from the wide frame.

Here's my 122 with front axle out of a 1650. I can't remember which tie rods I used though. I changed to the wide frame set up do to worn out spindles on the narrow frame set up and have been happy with it.
