Still some good left in the world
I just sold a 1250 I had on ******** for about a week. Kept getting texts 'Is this available', but nothing definite. I got one this afternoon that sounded like someone that had nothing to do but screw with people. Turned out the buyer lived 1/2 mile away and when he got here it was two young entrepreneurs in the lawn care business. They had to be like 14 years old. When they saw the tractor you would have thought it was Christmas. They laid the cash in my hands and after instructions on how to start it and an explanation of the controls they loaded their bike on the blade and drove it home. I explained that they should get on OCC and learn all they can about the tractor. I think those 2 kids have a great future ahead of them.

That is great to hear Richard. It goes to show that there is some hope for the future. Seems like most young people today just want to play games on their devices. I do hope they decide to join the site.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
