Cub Cadet 1650 Snow Thrower Belt Pulleys
Hello Everyone! This is my first thread on this website and I am happy to be a member.
I have recently purchased a snow thrower implement for my Cub Cadet 1650. It isn’t the exact one for the Cub, but I’ve heard of people making it work. I attached it and they pulleys do not line up. I was wondering if anyone knows of a fix. The snow thrower’s gearbox would either have to be longer, or the motor would have to sit further forwards. I will attempt to attach pictures in order to furthermore explain the issue.

Can you mount/move the snowblower in closer to the tractor with new holes/brackets?
Otherwise I think you might have to get a longer shaft for the snowblower's pulley to go on.

Might be cheaper/easier to fabricate a pulley with an extended collar than a new shaft. Could go either way.

Does the unit look like it can be pushed back farther based on the cut in "U" at the rearmost point. It's hard to see in your picture. The spring bar seen just above the snow blower pulley looks bent. Pulling up on the spring bar allows the unit to move all the way into position. When the spring bar is down the blower is locked in position.

bwahahahahaha, that looks familiar.
Couple years ago my brother bought a 1250 and then that winter he bought a thrower. Almost the same set up as you have. That thrower is a Haban designed for use on the cub 82 series. I'll try and take a few photo's of the modifications I made on my brothers unit and post them.
