123 loader project is on
Well took a couple years, but now I have a beat, but complete 123. A bucket loader w/pump, power steering from a later cub, and spindles and hubs for making heavy power steering setup. No place to work inside tho, so we'll see how much progress.
Today, I bought a less rusted tower too. The loader was on a junk Montgomery Wards tractor, that got scrapped. It needs hoses, and maybe a control valve rebuild.

Hear ya! I looked for a couple years to find this one. Cost $1000, minus what I got for scrapping the tractor for like $50 and selling the rear tires for $100. Still have wheel weights to sell too. Battery was good. But it needs 10 of the hyd lines immediately.
If you look often at CL and FB , and are patient, what u want will show up eventually! I might make my own (there's a YouTube video how to make a 20 ton crimping press). Either way, we're looking at 300 plus dollars to do it. And of course still have to mount it to the 123 Cub. Who know what I'll have to fab for that, might get lucky though too.

Getting a little older, some issues with that, so this is really for moving heavy items around. If you notice, the bucket has a receiver on it and I plan to reinforce that more and weld up a cherry picker "stinger" that I can hang a small chainfall so to lift stuff. If really ambitious, I do have an extra hydraulic cylinder that would make it a nice cherry picker. But thats all later. Getting thye loader done will be enough of a project for round one!
