I finally got mine attached, but it shows up upside down. Had better luck in the old days with my desktop, now my IPad is also obsolete and won't accept upgrades. Progress is slow in this house.

I have been trying for along time to attach a photo of my 1872 but it absolutely refuses to attach.
There are or can be many reasons. But the single biggest reason, is that these new Smart Phones, take a "big picture" with regard to size and pixels. These images can be 2 to 5 times the size of what can be displayed. Thus, if one follows these guidelines, then one will have NO problem(s).

How much do those steel wheel weights weigh? I always prefer the looks of those to the plastic covered concrete ones. On my 1440 I bought some home made ones that are single cylinderical plates with rings welded on the outside that line up with the holes in the rims, they weigh in at around 40# for each side, there are four plates per side to get the 40#. They are crude looking but they don't protrude past the edge of the rim. The ones on my 1872 are the plastic covered concrete ones that protrude past the edge of the rim by a couple of inches. They are 50# for each side. I believe they are craftsman brand.

I believe they are only 25# each. I really need a second set on that tractor for the #450. I paid more than half as much for them as the whole tractor, tho, so I think it's getting fluid in the tires first.

I really don't care for the looks of the plastic ones but have 2 sets of those too.

Yes, I know. They don't look as good as the metal, but obviously they weigh a lot more. Some of the guys on the Case, Colt, Ingersol forum made there own by melting lead from wheel balancing weights. I was thinking of trying the same thing, they are replacing the lead water service in my town, if I could get my hands on a couple of those, it would be plenty of weight. They used cut down propane tanks for the molds. The Case wheels have larger rims.

These are stackable and can sometimes fit on the inside, however.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
