Default Help with Cub Cadet 124 and project photos!

I need some help with paint codes that are original to IH on my Cub Cadet.

I also need help for what kind of oil is in the transmission, and creeper drive (it has hi and lo).

I recently finished painting the hood a few months ago, it looks beautiful. I want to finish what I started, and start to put the body back together. I want at least want a rolling chassis its my winter project. I added some project pics for my fellow cub cadet connoisseurs, to look at.

You can also walk into Case/IH dealer and ask for Cub Cadet Yellow and IH White. Majik brand paints at Tractor Supply is also quite good. Not as durable as the IH IronGard stuff, but quite adequate if you're not beating on it. Whichever brand you start with you should do the whole project with that same brand's color to ensure uniformity.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
