That's a real interesting contraption. Not sure I see the benefit over hydraulic. Adding a picture for future users.

It doesn't look like you'd be pulling into too many garages with a standard-height door.

I have a single 1000lb electric winch to lift my snowplow and a lot of use can draw down the battery. I upgraded the alt to keep ahead of it so I'm wondering how the charging system on that CC is going to keep up with two 2500lb winches.

Looks like it would fold up like a pile of pick up sticks first sign of an off center bucket full or load of whatever.

Agreed. I think you would want a larger battery like the cyclops have, or even mount a 2nd battery elsewhere to buffer the drain.

Would the front axle be able to cope with any sort of load ?

With an apparent absence of forward bracing to counter the balance I would think the leverage would have a tendency to lift the back end with a heavy load in the bucket. Too scary for me.

Personal injury accident waiting to happen.
Nice enough looking QL though if he would put the side panels back on. Can't really tell if it's a twin stick or not. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
