Thanks guys.
Fixed the fender pan today. PO had a bolt welded in instead of fixing the crack Ground out the bolt, then ground a groove in the crack and welded it up.
Easy fix this time

Yes it was, seems quite regular lately.
I don't cuss over little things like that but I know they can be a bugger. Cross that bridge when I get to it I guess.

Got my spindles back from Sammy, (local machine dude) he built up the surface that was worn down, then ground the heavy stuff off. Told me the rest was up to me.
So I chucked one up at a time in the drill press and went at it with files and emery cloth. Hot damn, turned out alright. Just need to polish them up a bit and we're riding in high cotton
Also got most of the needed parts in today. Set of rings for the K161. Wheel bearings, axle bearings and diff seals as well as the front seal, rear gasket. Oh, and the drive belt.
Picked the engine up after having the valves done, should be close to the end of spending $ now, the rest is sweat equity..
