Mine came with about 20 6 inch strips. They are about 3/8 wide and I cut off 3/8 inch to make a small square. SO you get about 16 pieces from each. Not really reusable

Maybe mount one on a piece of female velcro and and put the male piece on the shaft.
Then put the female on the shaft.
Then you would need one piece, just move the female to different shafts.

That would work! They also sell all kinds of reflective tape at hardware store. A roll of that would last me a lifetime

This came with one 6 inch piece that is peel and stick, so not reusable. I just cut off half an inch and the tach has a laser pointer to aim at it. It seems like standard reflective tape.

Silver paint for model car/truck kits works well also.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
