I like it any way you cook it. Have to try some of these other ways.

The wife and I will eat so much corn on the cob over the next week and a half,,,,
that we will not even think about it until it is time to plant the next batch next year,,,

We used to freeze it,, but, the "summer overdose" method works better,,,

Up here, you ask for cob corn, you are likely getting field corn. We specify sweet corns, and it's night and day to cob corn.

We used to be that way,, but, have become tired of garden food.
We have gardened for 40 years.
We used to put up 100 quarts of green beans each year,,,
that meant we had to have them twice a week ALL year,,,
now, we eat about 3 meals out of the garden and mow the bean plants.

We have switched much of our garden to perennial,, raspberries, asparagus,

this year we planted some grapes,,,

May have to try that cooking method sometime.
My mother never put up (froze) corn on the cob, always cut it off the cob. Most years put up the corn off 5-700 ears. Lets just say there were very few metal cans of veggies in that household. The wife and I always froze corn on the cob, around 80-120 ears a year. The year my son was born I came home from the hospital (he was in the NICU for a while) and pulled, shucked, silked, blanched, chilled, and wrapped about 80 ears. Doesn't take too long with 2 big pots on the stove, but man does it get HOT in the kitchen!
Oh yeah, we always preferred Silver Queen corn.

If all I got was steak. Potatoes and corn for meals. Throw in some eggs now and then. I'd be one happy camper. With the occasional chicken n dumplings and busicuts and gravy of course

I rill it in the water soaked husk if grilling meat on the grill too.
The little bit of burnt sugar taste to the corn really sets it off.
Or the microwave method when only doing six or less.

Then slather the corn with mayo, black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
